I enjoy working with adults, teens, young adults, and families facing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, life transitions, stress, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and relationship challenges. I'm passionate about helping people better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for support through a difficult season, my goal is to walk alongside you with compassion and care.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, person-centered, and trauma-informed. I draw from evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, DBT approaches, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and strengths-based techniques, while tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals. I believe there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to counseling, and together we'll create a path that feels supportive, practical, and meaningful for you.
As the founder of Gentle Roots Counseling, I created this practice with the belief that therapy should feel approachable, authentic, and centered on genuine connection. I strive to provide a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience.
Outside of counseling, I'm a mom who understands that life can be both meaningful and messy. I value time with family and friends, being outdoors, and finding joy in life's simple moments. I know asking for support isn't always easy, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people as they move toward healing, growth, and a life that feels more aligned with who they are.
